Planning your trip

Tell me about extensions and optional activities

Your safari doesn’t have to end when the game drives do. With Instinct Tours, you can add unforgettable extensions and activities — from relaxing on a white-sand beach to trekking one of Africa’s highest peaks. We’ll help you design a seamless experience that blends adventure, culture, and relaxation.

Extend or enhance your visit.

Beyond the standard safari route, Instinct Tours offers optional extensions to make your trip even more special:

  • Zanzibar or Lake Tanganyika Extensions – After your safari, unwind on the beaches of Zanzibar with turquoise waters and spice-scented breezes, or explore the stunning shores and unique biodiversity of Lake Tanganyika.
  • Cultural Excursions – Visit additional Maasai villages or local schools, where you can experience life firsthand and see how your visit supports local communities.
  • Trekking & Mountain Adventures – Extend your safari with a trek up Mount Kilimanjaro, or explore the lush Usambara Mountains for a more immersive nature experience.

Let us know if you’re interested in any of these exciting options, and we’ll work with you to design a customized adventure to complement your safari.
