INSTINCT TOURS – PAYMENT TERMS & CANCELLATION POLICY

It must be understood that Instinct Tours makes reservations on your behalf and, as a result, is bound by the terms, conditions, and policies of the various lodges, camps, flight companies, and other partners.

We understand that unavoidable situations may force you to cancel your trip. We strongly recommend you have trip cancellation insurance. While we will do our best to help “salvage” what can be refunded, please understand that this may not always be possible.

Note: A last-minute cancellation (within 14 days of departure) or a no-show may result in the forfeiture of 100% of the tour cost.


PAYMENT TERMS

  • A $2000.00 deposit is required within 30 days of booking to secure your reservation.

  • The balance is due 90 days before departure.


CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to:

The policy is divided into two parts:

  1. Initial Deposit and Refund Terms

  2. Final Payment and Refund Terms


SECTION 1: INITIAL DEPOSIT AND REFUND TERMS

  • For most custom tours, initial deposits are made 180+ days in advance.

  • Deposits can be refunded based on the following conditions:

Less than 120 days from booking to tour50% refund of deposit

SECTION 2: FINAL PAYMENT AND REFUND TERMS

  • Final payment is due 90 days prior to the tour.

  • If final payment is not received by 89 days prior, and no alternative arrangement is made, the booking is cancelled and 80% of the deposit is forfeited (only 20% refunded).

After full payment, refunds follow this schedule:
