The word instinct was derived from fixed pattern of animal behavior following their stimuli to respond to living nature. We as instinct tour. We are self driven by the stimuli need in response to nature, environmental ques through our knowledge, experience and natural ability to know where to go, what to do to offer incredible safari experiences to our visitors. Instinct Tours is family operated company/ business by passionate people with deep roots in Tanzania . We sought to offer safari experiences paired with conservation efforts that bring meaningful change to the region.

Our guide Arnold Makinda was all around perfect. Our group set the pace, to take as many photos as we wanted. Unless, we were on “a mission” as he would state when something caught his eye from a far distance while we were busy photographing. These moments NEVER disappointed. Every day was better than the day before. This was a seamless experience with great accommodations and food. Truly an amazing Safari with a FANTASTIC tour company and guide. Diane M2024-02-29Tanzania Safari- An Amazing Experience Instinct Tours - Tanzania Trip Review Tanzania is truly an amazing country blessed with beauty, bountiful wildlife, friendly and interesting people and a distinct culture of kindness. Just finished a safari with Instinct Tours which was coordinated by Marcy’s Photo Journey. We toured both Central and Southern Serengeti and were blessed with a guide who enjoyed traveling slowly through this incredible creation allowing us to stop frequently. He would place the vehicle so that we had the very best opportunities to observe and photograph the animals and landscape. We were able to photograph the unique wildlife who live in the Serengeti including elephants, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, leopards, monkeys, baboon, hippo, rhino, Cape buffalo, wildebeests, zebras, and more including a large variety of birds. Grateful for our guide, Makinda from Instinct Tours who shared his depth of knowledge about the animals, country, people and ecosystem. He enabled us to get the shots that not everybody can get . This was my first trip to Tanzania and it far exceeded any expectations I could’ve had. Would I return? You bet – in a second! I would absolutely go on a trip guided by Instinct Tours with the coordination of Marcy’s Photo Journey.
E P2024-02-27Superb Tanzania safari with Instinct Tours We have just returned from a 10-day Tanzania safari with Instinct Tours. Our trip was hosted by proprietor and naturalist Arnold Makinda and the entire trip was marvelous and way beyond all our expectations. We have been on 5 other safaris in Africa (inclu. Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda, with other companies) and can say that the trip with Instinct Tours has been by far the best. Makinda set a great itinerary for our 5-person group, and he is a very experienced guide (he was previously a veterinarian); he is very knowledgeable and patient, and his abilities allowed to catch very unique pictures of wildlife in action, where other safari companies where not even around us. EXCELLENT WILDLIFE SPOTTER ! And a very warm-hearted human being to boot! Highly recommended (we are going back to Tanzania with Instinct this coming June).
